About the Role

We are seeking a Data Support Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, customer engagement, and technical problem-solving. In this role, you will help our clients access, understand, and integrate our data products, APIs, and analytical tools. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure clients extract maximum value from our platform, particularly in navigating complex datasets and technical workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary technical contact for customer inquiries related to data entry, validation, and visualization during implementation and beyond.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues directly with customers related to data delivery, API responses, and integration workflows.

  • Translate client issues and requests related to data into technical specifications for internal teams.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by coordinating directly with customers and suppliers, cleaning data, and implementing quality control measures.

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards, extracting data for analysis and assisting with data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales to relay customer feedback and help drive feature enhancements.

  • Work with third party integration partners on data mapping and integration setup.

  • Maintain documentation for internal and external use and train end users related to data.

About you

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analysis or customer-facing technical role

  • Strong understanding of APIs (REST, JSON) and experience with API tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.)

  • Proficiency in SQL, basic familiarity with Python or another scripting language is a plus.

  • Strong customer-oriented mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with sustainability and compliance data or commodity trading data.

  • Understanding of data formats and delivery mechanisms (csv, geojson)

  • Experience with S4/HANA

  • Knowledge of sustainability compliance (EUDR, CSDDD, etc.), supply chain traceability, or similar domains.

  • Experience or eagerness to use machine learning and AI
